Challenge
Momo Inn is a 5-star hotel in Bogura, and hotel payroll is a genuinely complex problem — not the simple monthly-salary calculation most small-business software assumes. Staff are spread across departments that each run differently (housekeeping, food & beverage, front office, kitchen, engineering), shifts overlap and rotate, and pay includes elements a generic payroll tool doesn't handle well — overtime by shift, department-wise cost allocation, and service-charge distribution across staff. Getting this wrong isn't a minor bug; it directly affects what every employee is paid.
Solution
Rather than adapting an off-the-shelf payroll template to fit, RAAJRANI built a Payroll Management System designed around Momo Inn's actual department and shift structure from the start — department-wise staff records, shift-based attendance, and payroll calculation rules that match how a hotel, not a typical office, actually runs.
Implementation
The system was scoped directly against Momo Inn's real department and shift structure rather than a generic payroll model, then went live as the hotel's payroll system of record — the complexity the founder describes as "onek jotil" (very complex) came specifically from getting that department/shift logic right, not from the build itself.
